Okay, so I don't know if it'll work this well all the time, but I just took 1/2 of a pill and ... 10 minutes later ... I'm human again!
All I can say is thank the Lord for hubby's insurance -- the retail price of 12 pills of generic Zofran is $484+ (at WALMART). Because of his insurance, my co-pay was $15.
I'd tried Phenergan earlier and it barely took the edge off the queasy feeling. This is so much better ... maybe I'll rest well tonight. Yay!

I'm guessing Zofran is for chemo patients if it's that expensive. Too bad you have to be independently wealthy to take it. I'd just have to barf if I needed that.
Yeah, that's who it was created for. Desi actually was on it when she was pregnant with Liam in the hospital -- she was one of the case studies to experiment trying it in pregnant women.
The problem is that being so nauseated and so sick and tired, I couldn't function. So ... I'll take something if I can feel semi-normal ... even if there isn't anything explainable about what's going on with my body right now.
