It's GONE???

I put plenty of leftovers in the fridge last night, two separate containers, of the boeuf bourguignon with the potatoes. I was dreaming about it this morning, so I got up to eat some for breakfast.

It was GONE. The husband ate it ALL while I was sleeping. hahahahaha. *sob*

Good thing he didn't know about the small amount I put in the freezer. I'm hiding it until I'm ready to eat it. Some night when he's at work and I won't have to share.

hehe ... love the wv.

I was just so surprised it was gone! he'd only been able to eat one bowl the night before, so I figured there would be at least a little left for me.

I have ONE rule for sharing food (luckily I don't have a family, or else I'd go crazy): you do NOT finish anything I make off unless you tell me first. You better be sure I'm not expecting to eat some when I wake up! Because then you would die.

Well, in all honesty, I'd rather he eat it than it go to waste. And this baby really doesn't like me eating red meat, so he didn't think I would want it. If I'd said, "Hey honey, I expect a little of that tomorrow," he would've saved me some.

And now he's had his new years pork ribs, so I can make chicken for a month. lol

Oh those boys. I'd be upset with my hubby for doing that.

Glad to hear the someone else hides food for themselves! I thought I was the only one that did that. I ditto you on the leftovers. I hate it when I spend all day baking/cooking, and think there is plenty for a couple days, just to look in the fridge, and find out they are all gone. ARGGHH!! Sounds like a winner recipe though. Glad you found a new tradition.
