Kiddo's glasses broke.

In half.

At school.

You know, away from the house.

She tried to blame the baby because "he's always grabbing them!"

evitafjord said...: After repairing Hannah's last pair more times than I can count, supergluing my fingers together in the process, more than once - her last exam happened to fall when we actually had a little extra, so we got her the Easytwist frames AND the upgrades on the lenses with the warranty. I LOVE these frames and if I can help it, she'll never have any others until she's paying for them herself. She can twist them, Sam can swat them off her face, they look like they are going to break in two, but they just pop back into place.; January 12, 2009 at 7:11 PM
stewbert said...: I'm not so worried about the replacement -- they said they may still be under warranty, and we have some cash set aside (for the first time in a long time, thank heaven) for emergencies, so even if we have to pay for them, it won't be too bad.
