chicken and rice verdict

Goat milk is not our friend. Neither is goat cheese. I know some people who can't tolerate cow dairy do fine with goat, but we're apparently not some of them. While the milk bakes fine in certain things (cornbread, biscuits, etc.) and has not bothered us from a "milk" standpoint before, it definitely bothered hubby tonight, and the smell and taste made me really nauseated. The dinner looked good, but tasted strongly of goat, so I ended up throwing out whatever hubby didn't eat.

Bah.

Good to know though. We'll just stick with almond milk and may try this recipe again with that.
