Kiddo had been growing her hair out for a long time. She liked the long hair, but wouldn't brush it out all the way and wouldn't let me do it. Then her friend whacked hers off into a cute bob right at the end of school. Kiddo asked me if she could, too. I said no, thinking it would pass. She's still been fighting me on brushing it and still asking to cut it. So, today after her dentist appointment I took her to Great Clips. (Yes, I know I'm supposed to be on bedrest and have been in bed since we got home around 11:30).
Voila! The bob!
And yes, she is wearing her baby doll pretty much everywhere since she learned about house fires destroying everything you own. Thank you State Farm commercials on TLC.

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!
So, at first, I thought she had a hole in her shirt [first picture]. Then I started wonderin' why any designer would make a kid's shirt with a hole in the front of a shirt like that! Then I realized it was the doll's head...
Oh Ehu, you should just go to bed!!
Speakin' of fires...There was a house on fire today. It was about a mile away and the smoke was so dark and thick!! It smelled like a bonfire at my house for a while.
LOL. If you knew me IRL, you would know I would *never* let her wear a shirt like that! And if you knew her IRL, you'd know she's Miss Modest and wouldn't WANT to wear a shirt like that! lolol
House fires are scary. We bought fire extinguishers last week, too. lol
Miss Modest except for those short skirts and skorts!! ;)
Hee hee... I thought that too though too.. then I was like "wait... she's not old enough to have boobs.... oh! doll head!
I'm dumb. But I DO love her hair! So grown up!
Oh yeah ... it is hard to find shorts and skirts that are long enough for her. Made her some knee-length cut-offs from her holey-kneed school jeans though, and that's all she's worn the last few days.
One of these days, I'll get behind the sewing machine again and make her some longer skirts and shorts ...
IRL?
in real life
