Free paint?

I like to paint. I haven't done a thing with the condo since we moved in 4 years ago.

But hey, Glidden is giving away free paint.

So, what color did you order? I panicked trying to pick on the spot and couldn't remember one thing I wanted to paint that a quart would do so I picked my favorite shade of purple and figured I'd want to paint something that color some day. I really need a quart of my family room/bath color for touch ups (almost exactly the color of your blog background, at least on my screen) but I didn't dare try that online.

I'm boring. I ordered a light brown. I'm going to start in my bathroom.

I thought about a chocolate brown for my kitchen cabinets, but I need way more than a quart. And I thought about some color for my upstairs bathroom vanity, but I have no idea what I want in there yet. The walls are blue and the vanity has a white laminate top and is currently painted white, but IDK what to do with it. I want to know what to do with it, but I'm so stumped it hurts. I'm pretty sure the purple isn't the answer either. I think the purple will likely end up as the girls' dresser(s). Or just various little crafty painting projects.

Have a few painting projects/touchup things to do before we try and list the house again in the spring. thus, boring. hehe

I have a ton of projects to work on. The laundry room needs painting now that it's a laundry room and not a bathroom (not that we ever finished painting it when it was the bathroom). Lots of things that didn't get finished when we moved in to this fixer upper - painting the tall parts of the stairwell!! Retouching the front door is first on my list. But we have the paint for most of that stuff since we already started it - hopefully it's all still good. The bathroom now laundry room paint got moldy before we finished it, which is why it isn't finished, but that's okay because I hated it once it got on the wall anyway.

Can you tell that I'd rather paint than work today?

Oh, I have lots of projects. I need to finish the quilt my friend commissioned, I need to sew the dipes another friend just commissioned (yay for cloth!), and I have lotsa things going on for myself and the kids (not so much hubby - he has his afghan, although his quilt is still falling to bits. probably ought to do something about a new one).

Anyway. I have a LOT of projects, all of which I'd rather do than work, too. hahaha

Did you get your paint yet? I was curious so I googled and saw at least one person say they got theirs on July 10th. I'm hoping that's a good sign. I'm thinking about dumping mine in a partial gallon of white and painting my laundry room with it.

I did get it a couple of days ago. I'm excited to get to a point I can actually paint ...

OOOOH, what method did it come? Now I'll be watching. Too late today for USPS but Fed Ex comes late in the day.
