In typing a medical report today, I had to look up the spelling of "innie" just to be sure I was correct in my spelling of this slang term. Yep, really.

Sadly, my best friends from junior high got all weird my sophomore year, and I didn't really develop a "best friend" after that until *after* graduation. That'd be Jen. I had close, good friends (Renee, Nayn, Janet), but no "best" friend.
2. What sports did you play?
Uh ... Tonsil hockey? Gah.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
Until it got destroyed, I drove Gus, an old, yellow Toyota Corolla. Then I didn't have a car. Then my mom bought a car for my brother and me to share, but he got married and then his wife totalled it, so whatever. At graduation, I think I was driving a 1988 Ford Taurus.
4. On a Friday night what where you doing?
Kicking back with the fam or on a date.
5. Were you a party animal?
Not until college/ex-husband ...
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Yes. My brother's friends dubbed me one of the "Temptress Manipulators" because I flirted so much.

Running back and forth between the band and the choir. Pretending to cry and flicking a tear at the choir, which made them laugh.

Hello, senior SLUFF day? Like I was going to spend it with SCHOOL people.

Wow ... I don't know that I have any. I mean, you either love high school or you hate it, right? I spent more time out of class than in it by my senior year, and still graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

WAIT! When we went on choir tour to Cali and sang outside the San Diego temple and toured the inside before it was dedicated. Loved singing with that choir.

Technically, yes. Acadec and some other stuff for smrt people. But I rarely went (except to Acadec tournaments).

It was 3 years ago and I didn't go.

*What is the best movie you've seen in the past three weeks? ... Sadly, probably TMNT. We haven't been watching a whole lot of movies lately due to money issues. I know we rented another one, but I can't remember what it was.

On another note ... this is the first day this week hubby has been home in the morning. Small Fry has been eating whatever I've made for breakfast until today (she usually makes her own bacon and eggs), arguing with me over lunch, and then eating dinner. I understand she's sick but she is turning into more of a punk, pushing my limits to see how far she can. The new rule being instituted as of tomorrow is she's on her own for lunch, but if she chooses not to eat what I make the other two meals, she chooses not to eat. Yesterday, she had asked me to make egg mcmuffins for breakfast today -- I'd made them a different day and she liked them just fine. So I did because they don't take long and hey, both kids and I and hubby like them.

Guess who chose not to eat hers? GRRRR.

Later on, hubby came out and ate her sandwich, then started getting eggs ready to scramble. She asked for some. So he asked her "do you know how to scramble eggs" and she said "yes." he turned on the pan and walked away. So did she. Neither of them noticed until the smoke alarms started going off. He yelled at her and she was like "I didn't know you wanted me to DO it!"

He was mad about the $1 worth of ruined eggs. I was mad about my $100 pan. I still don't know if it's okay.

1. If your doctor said you were pregnant, what would you do? Well ... I'd hopefully have a baby several months later ...
2. Do you trust all of your friends? To varying degrees. The really close ones that I tell anything and everything to, I trust implicitly.
3. Would you move to another state or country to be with the one you love? If either of us were transferred or decided we hate Utah (which we both do) and found a better job somewhere else (which, mine is at home, so it wouldn't matter much), YES.
4. Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? I believe that a LOT happens for a reason, and a LOT of what happens to you is based on what you do with your life. -- huh. I happen to agree with that. But also a lot of what life gives us is a result of what other people do, too, and how we choose to respond to our own choices and theirs.

Other than my hawt husband, who occupies my thoughts most of the time, people are randomly popping into my head all the time -- usually they need someone to talk to, and if I heed the randomness, things are good. (this week: Jessica. Turns out she needs a sitter for today's OB/GYN appt for an ultrasound. I'm watching Lily-ness! and someone else did yesterday, but she was good when i finally texted her.)
10. Would you stop talking to your friends because you hooked up with a new person? That's not all that likely to happen unless my love dies, and then it'd be normal to eventually move on, so ... no.
11. When was the last time you flew in a plane? um ... when I moved to Utah 4 years ago? I drove down here from Oregon and then a few months later (june) flew back to finish packing and sent my dad and bro down here with the truck while I flew home with kiddo. I don't think I've flown since, but am flying to Cali in a month to hopefully pick up Small Fry.

13. What features do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? My husband. Okay, okay. I first looked at his eyes and his smile, then his ass. Yep. His thighs are pretty hawt too ... darn it, now I need a cold shower. Seriously, I like the male form, and I love my husband -- LOVING that he's gonna do another body building competition this summer. Triceps, pecs, lats, deltoids, gluteus ... the hardness of his muscles and the planes they create? totally HAWT. Outside of physical appearance, he attracted me because he was really in to me (body and mind), he is good to me and interested in what I have to say, and hey, we can be silly together but also serious.

it's not good. -6.25 or so ... plus astigmatisms in both eyes. There's reasons I have an appointment at the Lasik center next month -- assuming the fact that I forgot spermicide once this week doesn't mean anything.

Yep -- Canada briefly (like a couple hours) and toured Germany and Austria playing the piano with Dr. David and some of his other students.

Well. My husband is my best friend, so ... yeah. Other than that, no, but my former roommate once came home unexpectedly while I was in the shower and doused me with ice water, and SHE saw ME naked as I chased her out of the bathroom.

I had really weird dreams during the night ... can't remember details.

Aside from supposed early pregnancy sickness? I remember having a horrible flu winter 2005, and was really sick at home. i also remember being really sick after my surgery last summer -- morphine and lortab are NOT my friends.

I just finished reading Size 12 Is Not Fat by Meg Cabot. Yes, she wrote The Princess Diaries, but Disney's movies bear little resemblance to her books. Anyway. Sentences from page 123 (I'm not including the lyrics to an inane song as any of the sentences).

Maybe Patty's right, and the kids in the dorm--residence hall, I mean--are taking up the space in my heart where love for my own kids would be if, you know, I had any. Because I can't stop worrying about them.

Not that there can be that many more virgins left in the building--which I happen to be in a position to know. Ever since I swapped the Hershey's Kisses in the candy jar on my desk for individually wrapped Trojans, I've had kids stumbling down to my office at nine in the morning in their PJs--and if you don't think nine in the morning is early by college standards, you've never been in college--unapologetically plucking them from the jar.

I rather enjoyed the book, so if you don't mind some swearing, some murders, some sex, some colorful characters, and some discussions about condoms as above, you should get it from your local library and read it. Really. Man I love libraries -- FREE BOOKS!!!

C: cake or pie? cake usually, sometimes I crave berry pies, and when I was pregnant with munchkin (and, oddly enough, when I got home from the hospital this summer), I craved those lemon hostess pies or lemon meringue or anything lemon and pie.

I: indulgence? sleeping in until 5 a.m. I know, I know. That's still pretty darn early. but not when your husband gets up at 2 or 3 to work out and go to work. hehehhehe.

W: worst habit? Teasing. Specifically, teasing my sweet husband ... who hates being teased. This may not even be my worst, but it is the one I'm currently trying to break.



More weird dreams (and this might just darn well be TMI toward the end): I dreamt my uncle and aunt divorced, that my uncle moved to utah and married some woman I've seen at church (who is also married, btw), and she was trying to make him a suave dude instead of a country hick boy. (I just realized the chick in my ward probably has similar hair to said aunt when she was younger and was subconsciously reminding me of her, so that explains that, right?). I also dreamt my "rich" cousin inherited his richness from his dad (HA! his dad is a firefighter/paramedic or something -- btw, two different families) and that I was at their house with some people from my ward, my parents, and my munchkin, and that I had to go to the bathroom really bad 'cuz I needed to get home to hubby but knew I couldn't make it from Mapleton to PG without wetting my pants, but the toilets were all being used. Eventually, I woke up enough to go, "D'oh! I really hafta to potty!" I hate those dreams where I dream I *hafta* use a bathroom *now* and then I get there and is skody, broken, or someone's using it -- and then I wake up and realize I've gotta really pee, it wasn't just a dream. I've even had dreams I've even grabbed a bucket and tried to pee in it (yup, in public!!!), but never could do so. I guess that's better than wetting the bed. Hubby would probably agree with that, too. ;)

Um, 7/24/06 -- we bought a bunch and hubby lit them off in our parking lot out front while my mom and i sat in camp chairs and watched (i was almost 3 weeks postop), my dad opted to stand and watch, and kiddo ran around with sparklers, and some of the neighbors came by, too, to whom munchkin gave some sparklers. *can't believe I missed this question the first time through*
